Ungalvanized

For some reason after Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, I'm feeling a bit deflated. I've been overeating a little bit, not quite drinking as much water, just little things. Nothing is adding up yet. I want to be pumped for the new week. But, compared to last Monday, I'm as flat as a whoopie cushion.

But darn it all, I care about my 20 mile goal, and I care about my Sit Down Dinners pledge for the challenge, and maybe most of all I'm committed to my adopted Lenten promise of No Sugar, so I can't get into that much trouble this week. I don't think it's TOM time, and I don't really have S.A.D.D. to blame so much. So, it's just a perturbing day.

  10. You're so great! I know that I say that a lot, but it's true! I just got up on your blog. After reading Sunday's blog, I realize that I am not alone. I totally could have written that blog. Unfortunately...that is sometimes my home in a nut shell. As for today's blog, we all have days like that. Sometimes we just have to realize that not everything makes sense. That's worked for me...anyways... Hang in there!

  11. Well, we all have days like these - give yourself a bit of pampering, maybe? A soak in the tub, a good book, etc...

  12. I love that you're having a perterbing day yet amazingly staying focused on your various goals. That's fabulous in my book. Just saying.

  13. I'm sorry you're having a crappy day. I get that way too at times. We just gotta go through it and keep trucking along. This is where that old WW saying "fake it til we make it" comes in handy. Sorry to use WW propaganda but sometimes their motos help in everyday life.

Hang in there. You'll get your mojo back.

  14. Even though you are feeling deflated, it sounds like you are committed to your plan. I think it's so normal to have those times where you just aren't "feeling it!" I know I did!

  15. @karen@fitnessjourney- Thank you! I think that might be it. Also, I just finished a vitamin D supplement from my Dr. because I was low, that could be it too. I'll up my water and make sure I take my calcium/vitamin D.

@BEE-I think I would have died.

@Corletta- I do not believe you. You are too nice. :P

@Jenn- Ooooh. I like you. Mmmm. Self care. Maybe I shall propose a plan to Hubbend.

@Helen- I heart your comment! Thanks so much, I think that one will last me through the next workout!

@Paula Rodriguez- Fake it till we make it is great. I think that and my training wheels is what is getting me through this funk. I want my mojo back!

@Diane Fit to the Finish- I love goals. They really do have a lot of power over me. I've just got to muddle through, even if it means the tune of twenty miles.

  16. We women have a corner on this market don't we? Moody and depressed for no apparent reason. It stinks. Rooting for you to get back on your awesome feet (so to speak!)

It's Here

We got the moving truck rather unexpectedly. It's more expensive than Mr. Survival planned, so we're doing a lot of lifting, cardio, and squats. No. We're not doing the bootcamp in a trailer. We ARE moving things to the new garage, since we can't move in yet, but they're being kind enough to let us dump in a storage manner. Sorry. I'll have to beg your forgiveness and promise to update you. Eventually.

Flying With Concrete

Today I wanted to write about my dreams. Full of hope and bliss and fulfillment. Yeah, I sound about as light as a bucket of cement. Ready to fly away. Hang on, while I toss out the top of the pile. Maybe that will help me find my lofty aspirations. Nope. Thing is, I'm remembering today that I'm afraid of heights. Really. Once Hubbend made me climb up three stories of scaffolding. Broke it all down for me and left me no other choice. Made me feel irreplaceable. Yes, we must remember that I am crazy friends. Leave it to me to feel important by being told to go up a towering structure of death. I did it though. And I even wired a speaker while I was up there. But I'm still afraid of heights. So. Do you wanna help me out today? For every comment that tells me something someone wants to be able to do that they can't do now I will do one minute of exercise. Really. Because of my child care situation, it will have to be tomorrow morning. So have at it. ...

Hippity Hop

I hope it doesn't matter that it's been a week or so since my post on her...but I do have a fabulous special needs daughter.   THIS   and   THAT   are my most recent musings on Special Needs parenting. I'm not sure what I think about either one. It's about being out in public.   Thanks to Sunday at Adventures in Extreme Parenthood   I can handle this blog hop on a week as crazy as this.  I'm excited to visit all these excellent blogs. Stay tuned next week though, for updates on Chickadee's G-tube surgery, moving and The Beast and it's sugar-free diet.  Thanks for playing along at home. I really couldn't do it without you all. Oh, and visit my Facebook Page to see how my weigh-in went this week for GAG.   **I just figured out that  Super Mommy to the Rescue  and Autism Learning Felt  are the sponsoring blogs.  Please follow them if you link up!
