She bought out the entire top floor of our hotel. The entire place is in an uproar. 30 bags, Security at the entrance. Paparazzi outside and helicopters hovering.
She followed us to a fancy department store. And got us kicked out of the cafe where we were getting a nice hot cocoa and a bite to eat. The whole place. The staff came up to us and asked us to kindly leave our comfortable quarters and move into the more stiff and public place. We grumbled and did as asked.
Lady Gaga. Poor woman. Stalked all the time and afraid to be recognized. I walked past her a couple of times, I'm sure. But I didn't even whisper it to Hubbend. The girl had a stricken look when I recognized her. Either that or it was one of her staff that was afraid of being fired. Either way I feel for her.
I hope that she is still in awe of traveling, admiring the many splendors each place has. Not getting tired of the same songs over and over again. I hope she has enough anonymity left to enjoy each place. To buy the stupid cheap tourist items made in China for loved ones back home. And to really have FUN.
Because I have.
I love her. I'm gonna start following you around next. You're doing lots of awesome things lately!
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! And, yes, I'm sure LG has the pleasure of riches, but probably not the luxury of feeling she can ever be 'herself' again. Pretty ironic after she's worked so hard to successfully create a megastar 'self,' huh? OK, clearly it's time for me to get some sleep!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had fun . . . be sure to bring it home with you!!!
What a funny coincidence. Last night my husband showed our guests a YouTube video of some frat boys singing a Lady Gaga song. There was much speculation about the woman herself.
ReplyDeleteFor a second there I was scared you'd be mean about Gaga (she is my current obsession, has been for a while now) then you just decided to be kind and understanding and extremely nice about it. Because that's who you are. ♥
ReplyDeleteLady who??? LOL!!!
